MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors men's and women's basketball teams traveled to Miami Gardens to face off against conference opponent Florida Memorial Lions. The Lady Warriors started off the night winning big 80-53. After a short break the Warriors took the court and did the same winning 75-50.
Leading the Lady Warriors on the court were: #02 Laquandra Brazil with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and a block; #24 Yesenia Lora with 21 points, 6 rebounds, two assists and a steal.
The Lady Warriors record improves to 12-11 overall and 9-6 in The Sun Conference.

Raymond Durant with 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, two steals, and an assist; #4 Nate Morrell with 11 points, 4 rebounds, two assists, and a steal; #3
Giovanni Poitier with 10 points, 4 rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
The Warriors improve their record to 9-19 overall and 5-12 in The Sun Conference.
Both Warriors teams will be back in action on Saturday, February 22
nd as they close out their season hosting conference opponent Thomas College starting at 2:00 p.m. with the women and 4:00 p.m. for the men.
