BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University men's and women's basketball teams traveled to Miami Gardens for a double-header conference matchup against St. Thomas University Bobcats on January 11, 2014 beginning at 2 p.m.
The women's matchup began at 2 p.m. The Lady Warriors would be down 4 points into half time 35-31, and would fall to the Lady Bobcats with a final score of 75-53.
Leading the Lady Warriors on the court were: #24

Alishia Kahan with 8 points including 3 field goals; #02 L. Brazil with 8 points including 4 field goals and 4 rebounds; and #22
Samantha Harvey with 8 points including 3 field goals.
The Lady Warrior's record falls to 5-6 overall and 2-2 in The Sun Conference. And the Lady Bobcats record improves to 8-8 overall and 5-0 in The Sun Conference.
After a short break the men's basketball teams took the court to end the conference double header. The Warriors would go into the half down by 1 point 32-31 but would go to work in the second, outscoring the Bobcats 41-30, with a final score of 72-62 for the Warriors.

The Warriors record improves to 6-10 overall and 2-3 in The Sun Conference. The Bobcats record falls to 11-4 overall and 4-1 in The Sun Conference.
The Warriors men's and women's basketball teams will return to action tonight, January 14th in the Sabbagh Athletic Center as they take on Johnson & Wales University. Tipoff is 5:00 p.m. for the women and 7:00 p.m. for the men.
