BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors men's basketball team traveled to Johnson & Wales for a 7:00 p.m. game and left with a much needed win.
The Warriors started off strong taking a 20 point lead into the half 43-23. The Warriors would come out in the second half and put up 44 points to the Wildcats 53 ending the game with the final score of 87-76.
Leading the Warriors on the court was Tyler Auerbacher with 21 points and seven rebounds. Brian Pace had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Gabriel Rutledge had 13 points and nine rebounds along with two blocks. Jakeem Hill posted 11 points for the Warriors and Johnson Mesidor posted 10 points from the bench for the Warriors.
The Warriors will return to action when they play the #6th ranked team in the country Northwood University on February 9th starting at 7:00 p.m.
