Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors men's basketball team traveled to Daytona Beach to take on #23 Embry Riddle University and would come back with the overtime victory, 87-86. This is the first time since 1993 that the Warriors have beaten Embry Riddle twice in the same year and the first time since 1993 that they won at Embry Riddle.
The Warriors were led on the court by
Brian Pace with 23 points, three steals and assists, and five rebounds. Also
Tyler Auerbacher scored 22 points, two rebounds, and one steal and assist.
Michael Bonilla scored 17points including the game winning three with one second left in OT, three assists, and two steals.
Jakeem Hill had 18 points, five rebounds, and one steal.
Gabriel Rutledge led the team on the defensive side of the ball with 11 rebounds and posted three points.
The Warriors improve their record to 14-11 overall and 9-6 in The Sun Conference while Embry Riddle's record fell to 21-7 overall and 8-6 in The Sun Conference.
The Warriors will return to action at home in the Sabbagh Athletic Center for senior night on Saturday, February 16
th as they take on conference opponent Florida Memorial University with tipoff set for 7:00 p.m.
