BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University men's and women's basketball team traveled to the College of Coastal Georgia. The Warriors would come away with a win and a loss after the night was over.
The Lady Warriors would start the night off against the Lady Mariners at 6 p.m. The Lady Warriors would ultimately lose the game 74-47.
The Lady Warriors were lead on the court by #21
Jurnee Pethgrew with 13 points and six rebounds; #23
Jasmine Singleton and #10
Shakeria Wilson both had eight points.
The Lady Warriors record falls to 2-3 overall and the Lady Warriors return to action on December 5
th as they travel to Warner University to kick off conference play starting at 5:30 p.m.
After the Lady Warriors game the Warriors would take the court at 8 p.m. The Warriors would play hard as they scored 42 points in both halves. The Warriors would win the game 84-78.
The Warriors were lead the court by; #10
Carlos Holcey with 23 points, five rebounds and three steals; #1
Raymond Durant with 18 points and one steal; and #4
Nathaniel Morrell with 12 points, two steals and four rebounds.
The Warriors record improves to 2-5 overall and will return to action on December 3
rd as they host Embry Riddle University in their conference opener starting at 7 p.m.
