Webber has proven to be a team to be reckoned with after not only defeating then # 3 Northwood University, but this time they overpowered #9 Embry Riddle in back to back conference showdowns. Prior to the matchup, Embry was ranked #2 in the NAIA poll but later dropped to #9 with this week's recent coaches poll. It was perhaps the biggest win in school history.

The Warriors were down by as many as 14 points with 12 minutes remaining in the second half and that's when combo guard Brian Pace took matters into his hands with consecutive 3-point baskets. The very next possession he countered with a layup that sent the crowd into a frenzy. With 3 minutes remaining, the score was tied at 54 as both teams made keys plays down the stretch.

Senior guard Michael Bonilla made big plays towards the end of the game with 3-point play and a crucial assist to Tyler Auerbacher on a layup that resulted in a 3-point play. The momentum had completely shifted in favor of the Warriors and their big plays down the stretch propelled them to a victory over a very good team in Embry Riddle.
