Box Score     Babson Park, FL.    The Lady Warriors Volleyball team took the court this afternoon against The Sun Conference foe Ave Maria Univeristy Gyrenes. The Lady Warriors won the conference matchup in straight set 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-15) and had numerous Warriors contribute to the win.

    Junior Setter Katie Lindstrom tallied 30 assist in the match to pace the Lady Warriors offense and added 4 kills of her own and also hit .444%. Michelle Einzinger followed closely behind Lindstrom with a .428% hitting percentage alonge with teammates Candace Doren and Karimah Hay hitting .375% and .347% respectively. Junior Karimah Hay lead the Lady Warriors on offense with 8 kills followed by Junior Chelsea Umana with 6.

    Leading the defense for the Lady Warriors, Sophomore Libero Tanner Garbutt racked ip 23 digs in the match and also chipped in with 4 assist. Lindstrom and Sophomore DS Danielle Lemoine helped keep the Gyrenes offense at bay with 14 and 10 digs respectively. As a team, the Lady Warriors defense had a total of 72 digs and 7 blocks to go along with tough serving, 8 service aces.

The Lady Warriors move to 6-3, 2-0 TSC and are back in action on Tuesday September 18th when the play Broward College in a scrimmage set for 7:00 pm.
