Warriors Fall to Dolphins, 33-10

Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Webber International University (Warriors) traveled to Jacksonville, Florida on September 15, 2012 to take on the Jacksonville University (Dolphins). The Dolphins dominated the game in the air passing a total of 409 yards leading them to win the game, 33-10. 

The Warriors scored all of their points in the first half of the game. The first points of the game scored by the Warriors came from Mason Prater's 34 yard field goal, 7-3. The last points the Warriors scored in the game came from Brendan Deshields' six yard touchdown run bringing the Warriors within six points of the Dolphins, 16-10. In the second half the Warriors' defense came out strong allowing only one more touchdown from the Dolphins but it was not enough. The Dolphins went on to win the game with a final score of 33-10.
 
Leading the Warriors on offense was Lary Gaskins running 74 yards on 23 carries. Leading the Warriros on defense was Steven Willis with 8 solo tackles, 4 assists, and Luckner Petithomme with 6 solo tackles and 3 assists.
 
The Warriors will return to action at home (Legion Field) on Saturday, September 22, when they host Union College (Ky.) starting at 12:00 p.m.
