9/14/2012 7:27:00 PM

Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Warriors Men's Soccer team lost a tough match to the visiting Cougars of Clearwater Christian College with the final score of 0-1.

With the rain pouring early in the match, it seemed almost impossible for both teams to capitalize on key opportunities. The first half was dominated by the Warriors as they had 16 shots at the goal compared to the Cougars 5 shots.

The second half was a reverse as the Cougars came out as the more aggressive team. A late goal by the Cougar's Brad Cole with 10 minutes remaining in the game sealed the deal for the visiting team.  The Warriors quickly pressed against time in an attempt to tie the game but the clock was not in their favor.

Vicente Munoz led the Warriors with 9 shots followed by Jose Netto and Stephen McGinn with 4 shots each.  Goalkeeper Matthew Brust had 6 saves for the Warriors.

The Warriors will be in action in conference play vs. Florida Memorial University Wednesday, September 19 at 4:00 p.m. on Warriors Field.
