DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Sun Conference has announced the pairings and schedule for the 2012 Men's Basketball Tournament presented by Olympus Insurance. The tournament, which begins on Feb. 21, will span four days beginning with a play-in game on Monday, followed by the quarterfinals on Feb. 22 and the semifinals and championship game on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25, respectively.

For the second year in a row, Northwood will be the tournament's top seed. The Seahawks, ranked second in the latest NAIA National poll (Feb. 13), finished tied with St. Thomas at 14-2 in the league regular season standings. However, Northwood (27-3) was seeded No. 1 by virtue of its two wins over the Bobcats in the regular season.

The Bobcats (21-7) are ranked 13th and are the No. 2 seed.

Warner (21-9) and Southeastern (18-12) tied for third with 10-6 conference records. NAIA No. 21 Warner's late-season win over then top-ranked Northwood helped the Royals win the tiebreaker and put them in at the No. 3 seed, while Southeastern is seeded fourth.

Embry-Riddle (16-14, 7-9) is seeded fifth followed by Ave Maria (16-14, 5-11), Johnson & Wales (11-16, 5-11), Webber International (10-15, 4-12) and Florida Memorial (6-21, 3-13).

Webber International and Florida Memorial will face each other in the play-in game at 7 p.m. on Monday at WIU's Sabbagh Athletic Center. The winner of that game will face Northwood at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

The tournament champion will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship in Point Lookout, Mo., Mar. 7-13.
