BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors men's basketball team traveled across the lake on Saturday night, December 1
st, to take on conference and Crooked Lake rivals Warner University Royals. The Warriors were able to hold off the Royals attack in the second half to win the game 69-66.
The Warriors started off the game shooting well and took an early lead into the half with the score of 39-22. The Royals would come out hot from the half and give the Warriors a scare coming within three points of taking the game, 69-66.
The Warriors were lead on the court by
Brian Pace who scored 28 points, three assists, and six rebounds. Also
Tyler Auerbacher would score 19 points and have an impressive nine rebounds for the Warriors.
The Warriors improve their record to 3-4 overall and are now 1-1 in The Sun Conference.
The Warriors will return to action on December 5
th as they travel to take on Southeaster University starting at 7:00 p.m.
