Warriors Dominate Wildcats

Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University Men's Soccer team dominated conference opponent Johnson and Wales University to win their first conference game with the final score of 4-1.

In a much needed victory, the Warriors posted season high stats in goals and shots. It was one of the better games of the year for the team that now improve to 3-6-1 overall and 1-4-1 in the conference. Scoring for the Warriors was Yona Lobula, Bruno Peschke and Michael Dowson. Downson scored twice, one was assisted by Stephen McGuinn which was his second of the game. The other assist came from Yona Lobulu on Bruno Peschkle's goal 15 minutes into the game.

The Warriors dominated as they had a season high 25 shots compared to only 9 from the Wildcats. Goalkeeper Matthew Brust connected on 3 saves.

WIU will take the field again on Thursday when the hosts Point University in a non-conference match. The game is schedules to begin at 4:00 p.m.
