The Warriors are now 1-1 in the Sun Conference following a 4-0 defeat to SCAD.

Although Webber maintained their discipline throughout the majority of the first half, SCAD broke the deadlock in the 44th minute. Brinton Nute got on the end of a free-kick which was eventually headed home by Karl Sjostrom.

SCAD's second came in the 51st minute, when Richard Langthorne exposed a gap in Webber's defense. Jean Morana received the ball and calmly slotted it into the bottom right-hand corner of the goal.

Richard Langthorne scored a goal of his own when the Bees won a free-kick in the 65th minute. The Englishman's powerful shot sailed past Matthew Brust to give his team a 3-0 lead.

SCAD put the icing on the cake when their fourth and final goal was headed in from another set-piece. Brinton Nute rose highest to steer Ryan Middleton's free-kick into the back of the net.

Coach Cockburn said: “Due to several injuries we found it difficult to get behind SCAD's defense, however our defense played extremely well and I am still extremely confident about our season.”

The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday as they face Florida Memorial at 3:30pm.
