Babson Park, Fla. - Webber International University's men's basketball team took the court against the St. Thomas Bobcats and lost on Monday night 71-63.
Leading the Warriors on the court was
Marvin Williams with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 3 steals. Also leading the Warriors was
Junior Geidi with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assist and
David Marlar with 8 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. The loss makes the Warriors' record 10-12 overall and 5-8 in The Sun Conference. The Bobcats' record improves to 14-9 overall and 8-5 in The Sun Conference.
All proceeds of the Coaches Vs. Cancer game against St. Thomas University tonight was donated to a local cancer society. Thank you to everyone that came out and showed their support!
The Warriors take the court at home on Wednesday, February 9th, as they take Johnson & Wales University in another Sun Conference matchup at 7p.m. Be sure to come early and support WIU's JV basketball team as they take the court the same night against IMG Academy at 5p.m.
