Babson Park, Fla. – The St. Thomas Bobcats came to the Sabbagh Athletic Center Friday night looking to prove that they are the true #1 in The Sun Conference. The Lady Warriors came out strong staying within reach down by 9 points, 29-20 as the first half came to an end. The Lady Warriors came out in the second half and cut the led to 3 point before St. Thomas's offense started back up. Ultimately the Warriors lost the game by 12 points to The Sun Conference #1 St. Thomas, 62-50.
Leading the Lady Warriors on the court was Nikki King with a double-double scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks, and 3 steals. Also assisting the Lady Warriors efforts was Stacia Jo Hill with 8 points and Chelsea Shipman with 7 points.
The Lady Warriors return to action on Saturday, February 5th, as they host Ave Maria University starting at 2:00 p.m.
