Warriors Drop Last Regular Season Game to Embry-Riddle

Babson Park, Fla. – The Warriors hosted Embry-Riddle Eagles in their last home game of the regular season on Saturday night. The Warriors were hoping to improve their Sun Conference record in the hopes of hosting a postseason game on Tuesday, February 22, but to no avail Embry-Riddle won the game, 87-72.
The Eagles took control in the first half holding the Warriors to 30.6% from the field and 22.2% from beyond the arc taking a 17 point lead in the half, 48-31. The Warriors came out after the half and pulled within 8 points with less than 5 minutes on the clock. Embry-Riddle then began to pull away causing the Warriors to foul to stay within striking distance. The Eagles would capitalize on the Warriors fouls by making 63.6% from the line and winning the game by 15 points, 87-72.
Leading the Warriors on the court was #32 Tyler Auerbacher 19 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal.  #23 Marvin Williams also assisted the Warriors with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 2 steals. #05 Mike Bonilla scored 10 points, 2 rebounds, 8 assists, and 1 steal for the Warriors. This loss moves the Warriors record to 13-14 overall and 7-9 in The Sun Conference. Embry-Riddle improves their record to 26-4 overall and 13-3 in The Sun Conference.
