Rutledge Leads Warriors Over Falcons, 87-66

 Babson Park, Fla. – The Webber International University (Warriors) Men's Basketball team held onto their undefeated streak last night against the Florida College(Falcons); the final score being 87-66.

 The first half was primarily controlled by the Warriors. The Warriors were able to maintain that control continuously throughout the first half.

During the second half, the falcons came close to taking over the lead, but the Warriors were able to maintain their lead and began pulling away as the game wrapped up.

Leading the Warriors last night against the Falcons included; #21 Gabriel Rutledge with 4 Field goals, 3 three pointers, 5 assists, 4 steals, 13 rebounds, 1 block and a total of 11 points; The leading scorer was #12 David Swan with 5 field goals, 5 three pointers, 3 free throws, 4 assists, 1 steal, 4 rebounds and 18 points; Troy Simmons had 8 assists, which was the highest in the game, while also scoring 8 points.

The Warriors record improves to 2-0 and the Falcons record falls to 0-1.

The Warriors next game is November 4th, 2011 at Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL. The game is set to start at 7:00 pm
