Babson Park, Fla. - Regardless of the Warriors' best efforts on a breezy day in West Palm Beach, the Northwood Seahawks honored their seniors with a 2-1 victory.
The opener came from Marcus Johansson in 29th minute. Joe Hughes made a skilful run down the right flank, before playing the ball across the face of Webber's goal. Johansson tapped the ball past
Matthew Brust from seven yards out.
Johansson got his and Northwood's second in the 34th minute. After the Warriors failed to clear Olli Isosalo's corner, Johansson poked the ball home from close range.
Although
Javier De La Cruz converted a penalty for the Warriors in the 53rd minute, it wasn't enough to salvage the game.
Coach Cockburn said: “We were all over them in the second half; it's just unfortunate that we didn't pick up anything from the game. Everything boils down to the Warner game on Thursday, therefore I urge everyone to make the trip to Warner and support their Warriors.”
