Andy Hernandez headed Ali Gokhan's cross into the bottom right-hand corner to break the deadlock in the 80
th minute, which was almost immediately followed by a stunning free-kick from
Javier De La Cruz. The 25-yard distance didn't faze the Spaniard, who perfectly curled the ball into the top right-hand corner of the goal.
Matthew Brust had an exceptional performance for the Warriors, who was assisted by his strong defense -
Ade Ellis,
Alan Percival,
Jordan Leeming and captain
Tolga Turhan.
Coach Cockburn said: “Our second straight victory has done wonders for the team's morale; however, we cannot afford to get complacent.
“Although we pulled through in the end, Clearwater were hard to break down and deserve every ounce of credit they receive.
“The home advantage will be a crucial factor in our next game against Rollins, therefore, I urge everyone to come out and support us.”
