Babson Park, Fla. - The Warriors' Women's Basketball team had a tough loss against St. Thomas University Friday night, 84-45.
The matchup was in St. Thomas' favor from the beginning. At half time the Warriors were trailing St. Thomas by 11 points. The second half was even more difficult for the Warriors only scoring 20 points to St. Thomas' 48.
Leading the Warriors on the court was Nikki King with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assist, and 3 blocks. However King's efforts were not able to save the Warriors from the loss to St. Thomas. The Lady Warriors record is now 2-10 and in The Sun Conference 1-3.
The Lady Warriors return to the court at Ave Maria University on Saturday, January 15, 2011, tipoff is at 2 p.m.
