Babson Park, Fla. – The Lady Warriors traveled to Jacksonville, this past weekend, (Saturday, January 30th), and brought home a 77-71, conference win versus the Tigers of Edward Waters College.
By the end of the first half the Lady Warriors were winning by two, (36-34) and led by senior, Ashley Butler, with 11points. Also contributing to the points wise was Nikki King with 9 and Dione'shia Dunbar with six.
During the second half the Lady Tigers did their best to make comeback but the Warriors held their ground and came out victorious.
Nikki King led the team shooting with 23points and 8 rebounds. Ashley Butler added 19points, and 6 rebounds, and Dione'shia Dunbar collecting 16points, and 7rebounds.
The Lady Warriors will take the court again this Saturday, February 5th, as they take on Sun Conference rivals, Johnson and Wales University, at 8 p.m.
