Babson Park, Fla. – Webber International University men's basketball team defeat the Falcon of Florida College, last night (Saturday February 13th), at home in the Sabbagh Athletic Center.
The Warriors took a secure nine point lead walking into the first half, as Mark Marlar led the Warriors shooting 4-for-4 from the paint and collecting 9 points. David Marlar and Mike Bonilla both adding 8 points apiece and Tyrell Harper chipped in with 7 points.
The second half remained in the Warriors favor, as held their lead and stole the win, defeating the Falcons, 85-71. Webber improves their record to 14-12 overall and 7-7 in the conference.
Leading the team was David Marlar with 16 points. Mark Marlar snagged up 15 points and Tyrell Harper with 11 points.
The Warriors will take the court again at home Wednesday, February 17, at 7 p.m. for their last home game of the season and the Warriors senior night. WIU will be facing off conference rivals Edward Waters College.
