Lady Warriors End an Exciting Season

Babson Park, Fla. – The Lady Warriors celebrate the ending of a great season in the Rex R. Yentes Conference Center, last night, (April 22nd), with their end of the year banquet.
 
The women's basketball team ended their season with an overall 18-11 season and 5-7 in The Sun Conference. The Lady Warriors made it to the semi-finals of the conference where they were defeated by St. Thomas University 70-62, but not before they knocked out SCAD in the quarter-finals, 63-54.
 
Head Coach Ben Braaten opened the banquet by awarding and thanking the girls for another great season, as well as, all their hard work and dedication on and off the courts.
 
Other awardees on the night were: senior, Ashley Gabbert for Offensive Player of the Year, Nikki King for Defensive Player of the Year, senior, Jardae Robinson received the Champions of Character Award, Freshman Award was awarded to Whitney Kelly, and the Warrior Award was given to Nikki King , for leading the Warriors overall stastically.
 
Coach Braaten also recognized his graduating seniors, Maggie McDermit, Cindy Eurie, Ashley Gabbert, and Jardae Robinson.
 
 
Webber International University would like to thank and congratulate the Lady Warriors on a exciting season this year. We look forward to next year and great season under the direction of Coach Braaten. To the Lady Warriors graduating we also wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors.
