BABSON PARK, Fla. - The Lady Warrior women's volleyball team celebrated their six seniors Friday night (Nov. 6) as they defeated conference opponent St. Thomas University in three sets (25-18, 25-17, 25-22).  This improves WIU's conference record 12-4 and 22-8 overall.

The seniors of the team took complete control of the game for WIU.  Senior Kerri Romaniszyn led the Lady Warriors with 11 kills, while seniors Ashley Naughton tallied nine and Kristina Reeves notched on eight.  Reeves also collected five blocks on the night, while senior Trisha Belcher tallied up 34 assists.  Sophomore Julianne Dougherty also led her team in defense, collecting 11 digs on the night.

WIU's next match will be tomorrow, November 7th as they get set for two conference games.  At noon, they will take on Florida Memorial University, and then will take on Northwood University at 2:00 pm.  Come out and support your Lady Warriors as they wrap up their regular season schedule.
