Lady Warriors Extinguishes the Fire in Three Sets

BABSON PARK, FL- After last night's heart breaking loss to Embry-Riddle University, the Lady Warrior volleyball team came back to defeat conference opponent Southeastern University in three sets (25-13, 25-16, 25-15) on October 17th afternoon at the Sabbagh Athletic Center.  The Lady Warriors now improve their record to 18-5 overall and 9-3 in The Sun Conference.

 

Kristina Reeves continues to add on to her blocks, collecting five total (thee solo and two assisted) which brings her to a total of 100 blocks on the season.  She also led the team in kills on the day with 11, while Julianne Dougherty had 10 and Kerri Romaniszyn collected nine.  Trisha Belcher tallied up 29 assists on the day and Stephanie Krull added on 10 digs.

 

The Lady Warriors will return to action on October 20th as they travel to Eckerd College to take on the University of St. Francis in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Game time is at 4 p.m.
