Brett Kaminski

Brett Kaminski enters his first season as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Webber International University in 2020-21, and is in his third season on the Warriors' coaching staff overall after spending the previous two years as the graduate assistant coach. His duties consist of working with both hitters and outfielders.

Before coaching, Kaminski played at Wharton High School in Tampa, Florida, for four years under coach Scott Hoffman, Joey Fernandez and MLB Hall of Famer Wade Boggs. Kaminski helped lead his high school team to the regional final his junior year along with the school’s first district championship.

After high school, Kaminski attended Hillsborough Community College where he was a redshirt under head coach Gary Calhoun. Kaminski then earned a scholarship to play at Webber International University under coach Brad Niethammer, Collin Martin and Andy Polk. Kaminski was an integral part of Webber’s first NAIA National Tournament appearance team in 2017 and Webber’s first Sun Conference Tournament Championship team in 2018.

“Coaching is what I have always wanted to do, and being able to stay at Webber makes it even better,” said Kaminski.

Kaminski is from Tampa, Florida, and currently lives in Lake Wales, Florida.
