BABSON PARK, Fla.- When Athletic Director Bill Heath needed a new cheerleading coach, he had no idea that he was going to end up with two coaches for the squad. Two familiar faces are returning to Webber International University to be the Co-Head Coaches for the Warriors Cheerleading program. They are Genifer Redmon and Yini Schreiber. Both have married since their last stint at WIU and both are excited to return.
Co-Head Coach Redmon returns to Webber after being away from the program for a year. Redmon was the Head Coach for the Warrior Cheerleading Team from 2009-2011.
Redmon, from Charleston, South Carolina originally graduated from Deltona High in 2002, and was named UCA All-American Cheerleader that year. While attending Daytona Beach College, Redmon co-owned an all-star cheerleading gym in Deland, FL from 2001-2004.
Redmon graduated from WIU in 2007, and cheered all three years for the Warriors and served as the Team Captain her junior and senior years. She served as the assistant coach for one year prior to be named as the head coach.
Coach Redmon resides in Haines City, FL with her husband Michael.
After being away from Webber International University for a year, Co-Head Yini Schreiber returned to do what she enjoys. Schreiber served as an assistant cheerleading coach from 2008-2010.
Schreiber was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico but the family moved to Sebring. She graduated from Sebring High School in 2005 and was recruited by Webber for tennis. Yini played four years of tennis for the Lady Warriors and was on the cheerleading squad from 2005-2008.
Schreiber graduated from WIU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2008 and with a Master's in Business Administration degree in 2010.
Yini resides in Babson Park, FL with her husband Jeremy and they are expecting their first child, a boy in November.
