BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Warriors competed at the UT Ryan McCall Track Classic this past Saturday, hosted by the University of Tampa. The Lady Warriors scored 83 points to claim the victory over the University of Tampa (60pts.).
Event winners from the meet include: senior hurdler
Barbara Mendes in the 400 meter hurdles in a season best time of 1:07.57; freshman hurdler/jumper
Quantavia Stalworth; and junior hurdler/high jumper
Amanda Stoll, crossed the finish line in 2
nd and 4
th respectfully. Mendes and Stalworth then teamed up with freshman sprinter/jumpers,
Bre'Shae Pierce and
Artisha Dawkins in the 4 x 400 meter relay with a first place time of 4:07.43.
The Lady Warriors also pick-up strong performances from in the team of junior Samantha Rammel, freshman
Rachel Fredrick, senior
Kelsey Coty, and freshman
Kathi Whitfield.
Kathi Whitfield ran 11:42.29 to place second in the 4 x 800 meter relay. Senior
Iesha Livingston lead freshmen
Artisha Dawkins,
Shakera Wilson, and sophomore
Breann Smith to a second place 4 x 100 meter relay performance (49.45).

Enyinnaya Uche,
Christopher Hudson,
Eric Mejias, and sophomore Ronald Decomo's first place finish in a time of 42.22, the Warriors finished in 6
th place out of 16 teams. Sophomore mid-sprinter
Jordan Clarke picked up a second place overall finish in the 400 meter run crossing the finish line in a time of 49.08.
The Warriors' next competition will be at The Sun Conference Track and Field Championship meet April 21-22 hosted by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Day one competition begins at 2 p.m. with field events, while the running prelims start at 4 p.m.
