Warriors Perform Well At The Sun Conference Championships

LAKE WORTH, Fla. – The Webber International University men's and women's cross country team traveled to Fort Worth to participate in The Sun Conference Championship starting at 8 a.m.  Both teams performed very well. The men finished 8th out of 11 teams and the women finished 7th out of 11 teams. 
 
Leading the men on the course were: Gabriel Brannon in 27th place with a time of 28:19.95; Bryan Tumlin-Smith in 36th place with a time of 29:22.94; David Wright in 41st place with a time of 29:51.82; Lucas Feyler in 53rd place with a time of 31:38.02; Victor Karstendiek in 58th place with a time of 32:37.65; Marcus Corbett in 66th place with a time of 34:06.50; and Jordan Clarke in 72nd place with a time of 35:21.74.
 
Leading the women on the course were: Kathi Whitfield coming in 28th place with a time of 21:25.35; Amber Griffith in 33rd place with a time of 21:46.62; Marly Joseph in 59th place with a time of 25:53.85; Rachel Fredrick in 60th place with a time of 26:00.0; and Bre'Shea Pierce in 66th place with a time of 28:13.73.
