Babson Park, Fla. – The Webber International University football team arrived on campus today, August 4th, to begin preparation for the 2010 season. Coach Scott welcomed approximately 80 players today as they were in for their physicals exams and team meetings.
The first day of practice is Thursday, as the Warriors prepare for their opening game on Saturday, August 28th, at 1:30pm when they entertain University of Virginia-Wise. All WIU home games are at Legion Field in Lake Wales.
The Warriors Practice Field is located at the corner of Scenic Highway and Golf View Cut-off Road in Babson Park. Spectators are welcome to attend the practice sessions.
