Lakeland - The Polk County All Sports Awards is a high profile event to honor the areas best high school, college and professional athletes.  The Webber International University Women's Bowling team became the first Webber International sports team to receive such an award.

Webber International University Warrior Women made history by winning a National Championship in their first year and the first team in 35 years to win a title in their first appearence in the tournament.
