WIU Softball Team go 2-1 at National Training Center

Clermont, Fla. – Lady Warriors softball team took the field again at the National Training Center in Clermont yesterday (Tuesday, February 23rd) , in the NTC Spring Games.
Opening the spring games with a double header versus Davenport University, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Warriors took a 10-2 loss to the Panthers the first game and put up an eight inning fight in game two for a 5-4 loss.
The final game of the day for the Warriors was against Goshen College, from Goshen Indiana. WIU pulled through with a 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs in seven innings.
The Lady Warriors are now 4-6 overall, and will continue play at the National Training Center tomorrow, Wednesday February 24th, with games beginning at 10a.m.
