Webber Women 2nd at the Hoosier Classic

Indianapolis - The Webber International University women finished second in the most important event of the regular season. The 41st annual Hoosier Classic attracts the entire field of top women's programs from around the country.
After 9 team games, the women warriors qualified third.
In the best-of-five Match Play quarter finals, # 3 WIU won in straight games over Lindenwood. They next faced 2008 National Champions Pikeville and won 3-1. In the finals, WIU lost to the University of Central Florida, 3-1.
